Chateau Myrat dates back to the 1700s, and was bought by the current owners - the Pontac family in 1937. Grown on relatively young vines and aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months, this sweet wine is intense with a rich nose and delicious palate.
Produced using 100% Grenache grapes from a single plot, this wine was selected within a list of best wines under $20 by La Revue des Vins de France. An intense nose of raspberries and a note of spice here, with cherry and raspberry on the palate. Velvety tannins appear, followed by an intense and long finish with a hint of freshness.
