Grower Champagne
Grower Champagne, referred to as "récoltant-manipulant" in French, produce wines using grapes grown exclusively on their own land. Unlike larger Champagne houses, which often purchase grapes from multiple sources to create their blends, grower/producers have a more intimate and direct connection with the entire Champagne-making process, from vineyard management to the finished product. These artisan wines express the terroir of their land through their unique characteristics.
