1994 Rioja Vina El Pison Bodega Artadi - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
A 100% Tempranillo wine whose grapes grow in a vineyard established in 1945, 480 metres above sea level. Grapes are harvested by hand and matured in new French oak barrels for 12 months. a maroon colour with a brick red edge. On the nose, ripe black fruit, delicate spice and balsamic notes. On the palate ripe with well integrated tannins, black fruit, tobacco, smoke and an earthiness. A very long lingering finish. Sublime with red meat and game after a long decant, this is a very luxurious wine.

Fernando de Castilla Classic Pedro Ximenez - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
Sundried, fortified and aged for a minimum of 10 years. Opaquely dark mahogany colour. The nose seduces with intense dried fruit aromas of raisins, prunes and dates, coupled with brown spices of nutmeg and clove, this becomes reminiscent of Christmas. 2014 La Rioja Alta Vina Arana Gran Reserva (Case - 6/75cl)

2016 Finca La Estacada Blanco - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
Charming and sweet. Produced from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Chardonnay is the most widespread and popular white variety in the world. 2011 Rioja Reserva Bodega Martinez Lacuesta - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
This Rioja spends 30 months in new and medium new American oak casks after which it is bottled and matured for a further 2-3 years before being released. Ruby cherry colour, it shows clean and brilliant. Mature fruits, sweet spices, chocolates and aromatic coffees appear in the nose. Supple and tasty on the palate. 2013 Rioja Gran Reserva Paternina - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
This Rioja is wonderfully mature, mellow and flavoursome. The sweetness of fruit is perfectly complemented by a good level of spice. Initial vanilla and oak is followed by smoky plum and blackberry. The decade of maturation since the grapes were harvested has seen the tannins soften and the win e is now at its peak. Any red meat would be an ideal partner.
2015 Rioja Reserva Vina Ardanza La Rioja Alta - (Case - 12/75cl)
La Rioja Alta has been a pioneering bodega since it was founded in 1890. It excels by applying traditional winemaking techniques in its state-of-the-art, purpose-built cellar. In the excellent 2015 vintage the winemaker added a portion of Garnacha from the La Pedriza vineyard. This beautifully complements the richly layered Tempranillo, sourced from the estate’s 30-year-old vines, set at 600-metres altitude. All grapes – Tempranillo and Garnacha – were harvested by hand prior to careful, temperature-controlled fermentation. This was followed by four years’ ageing in American oak casks made on the estate’s century old cooperage. Only released 6 years after vintage, it’s beginning to drink well – a classic with lamb. Open early and decant.

2018 Romantica Crianza Ribera del Duero Bardos - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
A red wine from Ribera del Duero, Spain, made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. It spends 14 months in oak and has notes of ripe cherry, blackberry and vanilla with soft tannins and a slightly spicy finish. The perfect partner to grilled lamb chops.
2004 La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 890 - (Magnum - 1/150cl)
The 2004 Gran Reserva 890 is the top of the range here, a wine that is only released three/four times per decade in exceptional years. They start by sourcing grapes from their oldest vineyards and going through a slow process of aging the wine in American oak barrels for six years, with ten manual rackings, and each time there is a selection of only the best barrels. The bottled wine is 13.5% alcohol. The nose is all about forest floor aromas, game, cigar ash, incense, old furniture and some smoked meat. The palate is very fresh with slightly dusty tannins and nice acidity.
Decant for 2 hours and enjoy with beef or game.
2018 Valencia Clos de Lom Isidra Garnacha Tempranillo - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
A blend of 85% Garnacha and 15% Tempranillo. A bright and deep ruby, Isidra shows a significant and open nose, combining ripe red fruit with nuances of new wood. It brings back memories of aromatic herbs. Elegant palate, well-balanced and polished tannins. Lively acidity and very persistent.
Ideal for pairing with red meat, glacé duck, grilled pork, stews, lamb and cured cheese.
2019 Valencia Clos de Lom Garnacha - (Bottle - 1/75cl)
This Garnacha wine is a deep red cherry colour with hints of violet. It has floral aromas with ripe red fruit, blackberry and cassis. On the palate are black and red berry fruits, hints of spice with a creamy finish with a little pepper. Good food matched include beef, game and pasta.

The 2019 Tempranillo, Clos de Lom is a wonderful wine, deep red in colour with some purple hues. It's intense and complex on the nose with hints of black fruits. This Malvasía wine shows a bright greenish yellow colour. It has a high intensity aroma of ripe fruits; such as red apple, peach, lychee with a floral background of orange blossom.
