A forward and attractive, modern, style of Crianza with lifted aromatics of violets and bramble fruit - complemented by perfumed jasmine notes, pepper and spice. Substantial on the palate, with black fruit, ripe tannins and a gently toasty, savoury finish.
From a 2015 vintage, which it was a very good year. It is a blend from 90% Viura and 10% Malsavia. The average vines are 42 years.The wine has been aged into American barrel for 16 months.
Established in 1932, Muga adopts only traditional methods when producing their wines. The dominant grape variety in the Rose is Garnacha, grown on the slopes of the Obarenes mountains, on the cooler side facing away from the sunlight so as to keep the fresh, sharp fruity taste. This is another great offering from Muga, and we wouldnt expect anything less!

Finca La Estacada are making great wines in the sun drenched region of Cuenca, south east of Madrid, in the north-east of La Mancha, in one of the highest and coolest areas. The D.O. of Uclés is a very strict D.O. with yield restrictions based on the age of vine and the location in which they are planted.
Their wines are farmed at 850m elevation in clay soils with a lime substrate. Thanks to the high elevation and calcareous influence from the lime, the wines are lighter and brighter than one might expect from central Spain. The viticulture at Finca La Estacada “transitioning organic,” the climate and land easily suitable for working without systemic chemical influences.
18 months aging in American Oak and 7 months in bottle has helped create a complex red with polished tannins, with plenty of bottle age this is simply gorgeous Tempranillo.
This Cabernet Syrah blend is probably the finest wine from the brilliant Finca La Estacada. The grapes are the finest at the estate grown at 850m above sea level. Two years maturation in tank and American Oak, followed by eighteen months maturation in bottle. The wine is strikingly rich and concentrated, in a modern polished style, which matches the ultra-modern presentation.

Bardos Romantica is a red wine from Ribera del Duero, made from 100% Tempranillo. The grapes come from a rigorous selection of low yielding old vines located in the highlands of the central plateau in Onesimus Quintanilla (Valladolid).
Once fermented and macerated, Bardos Romantica undergoes a malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
Finally, the wine is aged for 14 months French oak, located in underground cellars where the temperature is maintained throughout the year at around 14ºC.
This is a soft and original wine, this vintage provides a fairly full body, drinking well but with good ageing potential, with roundness and spectacular tannins. Decanter awarded this 92 points.
The grape variety that makes up the Muga Tinto Reserva includes; 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha and 10% Mazuelo. The vines lay on clay/calcareous and alluvial soil. Matured for 6 months in traditional Riojan oakvats, 24 months in small oak barrels and a miniumum of 12 months in bottle. This wine is very powerful, intense and lively.
A wine from late harvested Chardonnay grapes. The grape becomes over mature and dehydrated, and the sugar concentration is higher. However in the mouth the sugars do not dominate, but there is an harmonic acidity with a slightly oily sensation perfectly integrated on the wine and well balanced.
