2014 Barbaresco Pora Azienda Musso (Bottle - 1/75cl)

The Musso Winery, established in 1929, is located in Barbaresco, Piemonte, in North West Italy where Nebbiolo grapes are cultivated in the estate vineyards.
Barbaresco “Pora” is a very expressive wine; very rich in aromas of cherries, raspberries and strawberries along with hints of dried flowers, cinnamon and vanilla. The flavour is consistent: full bodied, intense, with fine mature tannins.


2014 Barbera d’Alba Brua Azienda Musso (Bottle - 1/75cl)

The Musso Winery, established in 1929, is located in Barbaresco, Piemonte, in North West Italy. Barbera d’Alba is obtained from the oldest vineyard of Musso, located in Rio Sordo. The wine has notes of red fruit jam and brandied cherries along with cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is rich and intense, with a good balance between alcohol and acidity and a structure that offers good aging potential.

Made with the Nebbiolo grape which is native to the Piedmont region, this is a full bodied red with intense flavours. This wine has been aged for three years in oak, bringing out the complex flavours of the Nebbiolo grapes, dark plum, leather and a definite spice all complimented by ripe tannins. Match this with a joint of roasted beef on a Sunday afternoon.

2014 Nero D'Avola di Sicilia Villa Cardini (Bottle - 1/75cl)

This is an intense Sicilian red with bags of flavour. Plum and black currant on the nose, with a rich and complex palate, the finish is velvety and harmonious. This would be best matched with grilled meats and cheeses.
