Created in 2007, Sixteen Ridges vineyard is located in the historic town of Ledbury near Hereford. The producers strive to challenge the 'norms' of wine making and want to create and encourage their customers to try new things. The Pinot Noir rose has flavours of raspberry, strawberry and a hint of lime on the palate. Although this is great to drink all year round, it lends itself particularly well to a warm summers afternoon spent lazing in the garden - heaven.
The Bacchus from Sixteen Ridges is a bright and zesty wine full of tropical fruit flavours. A great alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc, delicious when matched with goats cheese or a light salad.
Comprised of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, this wine has all the hallmarks of a fine sparkling wine. The subtle fruit on the nose, red berries from the Pinot and citrus from the Chardonnay, is harnessed up by a long, textured palate that remains and satisfies. This Rose from Lyme Bay is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes and should be served lightly chilled. Strawberries and cherries on the palate with a touch of rosehip, followed by cranberries and rhubarb on the refreshing finish. A great summer time drink.
