Comprised of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, this wine has all the hallmarks of a fine sparkling wine. The subtle fruit on the nose, red berries from the Pinot and citrus from the Chardonnay, is harnessed up by a long, textured palate that remains and satisfies. "Albury Estate Classic Cuvee has all the hallmarks of a fine sparkling wine". Stephen Skelton MW
This beautifully crafted Sparkler from the Albury Estate on the Surrey Hills is a real star. Very fresh and vibrant as you would expect, with lime and lemony zest notes, but with a delicious fruit coulee concentration as a backdrop. Really well balanced, drifting effortlessly into the long refreshing finish. Super stuff. This would stand out against most Champagnes at this pric…
Sandbar from Lyme Bay Winery is a multiple award winning wine. Created using 100% Baccus grapes, which when grown in England's cooler climate tend to have a higher level of acidity. This is a great alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc with notes of grapefruit and elderflower, crisp and zesty - a delicious summer wine.
The Bacchus from Sixteen Ridges is a bright and zesty wine full of tropical fruit flavours. A great alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc, delicious when matched with goats cheese or a light salad.
A wine for seafood; well balanced and refreshing with complex layers. The palate's fresh acidity displays lemon & grapefruit and is dry with a crisp saline finish.
Shoreline is a blend of Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, Seyval Blanc & Reichensteiner, with each of the parcels fermented separately with different yeast strains & temperatures to make several complex layers of flavours and aromas. Upon completion, the different vats are blended together in the optimum proportions. The resulting Shoreline blend is aged for a few months on fine lees to improve structure & mouth-feel, before being bottled.
Decanter World Wine Awards 2017: SILVER
Created in 2007, Sixteen Ridges vineyard is located in the historic town of Ledbury near Hereford. The producers strive to challenge the 'norms' of wine making and want to create and encourage their customers to try new things. The Pinot Noir rose has flavours of raspberry, strawberry and a hint of lime on the palate. Although this is great to drink all year round, it lends itself particularly well to a warm summers afternoon spent lazing in the garden - heaven.
This Rose from Lyme Bay is made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes and should be served lightly chilled. Strawberries and cherries on the palate with a touch of rosehip, followed by cranberries and rhubarb on the refreshing finish. A great summer time drink.
Harrow & Hope Brut NV Signature blend has been created from all three classic grape varieties, led by the pure fruit and texture of Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier and well supported by the finesse of Chardonnay. This 3rd Edition bottling is dominated by the very warm and ripe year of 2014, with a small addition of reserve wines aged in oak barriques for added spice and complexity
