2020 Bordeaux in bottle

There is no doubt in our eyes that 2020 vintage in Bordeaux is a great one, with our second foray into the vintage confirming our initial thoughts and then some, with the wines of the Medoc in particular showing even more promise than when we first tasted these wines in the Spring of 2021. So in light of the imminent reappraisals of this wonderful vintage, in which we are expecting increased scores from critics all around, here is a chance to get your hands a small selection of our top picks before any impending secondary market movement!

2020 Grand Puy Ducasse 5th Cru Pauillac - (Case of 12/75cl)

Ch. Grand Puy Ducasse is clearly a property on the up with Director Anne le Naour and her team producing excellent wines of the past few years. Wine critic Neal Martin proclaims GPD to be "the dark horse of Pauillac" and based on our re-assessment of the 2020 vintage we can see why!

2020 Lafite Rothschild 1er Cru Pauillac - (Case of 3/75cl)

2020 Margaux 1er Cru Margaux - (Case of 6/75cl)

In 2020 this iconic property is one of only three wines to be given that elusive potential perfect score from wine Critic Neal Martin... Considering the general developed of the 2020's during elevage and again in bottle, I would not at all be surprised if this wine was to achieve a perfect score outright and if it does there will no doubt be positive secondary market price activity. "Will it achieve perfection? We'll find out soon(ish)."

2020 Mouton Rothschild been one of the vintages top performers in the secondary market so far and with likely price increases during the 2022 EP campaign, we can only anticipate further positive movement.
