Scotch Single Malt Whisky


These are whiskies that have been distilled at one distillery only, aged for at least three years and bottled above 40% abv. No grain whiskies can sit within this character, only those that have been made purely with malted barley. There are six regions where Scotch single malts are produced, these typically define the style and character of the whiskies. Speyside and Highlands are renowned for those rich and fruity styled whiskies, whilst Islay is home to the peat smoke.

Another striking release from the Special Releases series of 2017- the sixteenth bottling of Brora in the iconic series. Just 3,000 bottles were produced, drawn from refill American oak hogsheads which were initially filled in 1982.

North Port Brechin 40 Year Old 1976 (cask 3887) - Cask Strength Collection Rare Reserve (Signatory)

Signatory do have some fascinating casks squirrelled away in their warehouse. This is an extremely rare offering from North Port Brechin (which was also known separately as North Port and Brechin, before being closed in 1983). This whisky was distilled in December 1976, aged in a hogshead cask and bottled at 50.4% ABV in February 2017. Only 194 bottles were released.
