Colour Deep Bronze Nose Vanilla spice and ripe citrus running into dried fruits and nuttiness. With a splash of water more depth of mandarin citrus with fudge and honeyed notes. A limited release Arran single malt from just 35 Ex-Bourbon barrels and 10 Ex-Sherry hogsheads that were filled to cask on 31st December 1999 and January 1st 2000 and limited to just 7800 bottles. Released in 2013 at 13 years old and at natural cask strength and with natural colour and non chill filtered.
Released as part of a series of three single malts from the Isle of Arran distillery, the 17 year old is the second in the trio. It is made using un-peated malt and it is matured in ex-sherry casks yielding just 9,000 bottles. The result is a well-aged zesty single malt Scotch. The final release in the series will be the 18 year old, expected to arrive on the shelves in 2015.
