With the backing of the Robert Burns World Federation, this is Arran distillery's blended Scotch whisky that, whilst not wholly Arran, does contain a dose of Arran malt within.
From Douglas Laing comes this limited edition Rock Oyster bottling, an 18 year old Scotish blended malt distilled frrom Whisky made on the islands of Arran, Islay, Jura and Orkney, produced without colouring or chill-filtration.

The big Scotch whisky brand, Royal Salute, has produced a rather spiffing limited edition blend that’s created in partnership with interior designer Afroditi Krassa (who’s worked on all sorts of fancy places including Heston Blumenthal's Perfectionists' Café). You not only get this royally aged whisky and other things, including a funnel and serving tray, but a porcelain flask and porcelain bottle of Royal Salute.
A fabulous 38 year old blended Scotch whisky from Chivas named after a powerful symbol used to crown the monarchs of Scotland and England, the Stone of Destiny. This complex fruity whisky comes presented in a striking bottle, housed in a very smart presentation case.
Unveiled in 2015, Chivas Extra Combines whiskies aged in Oloroso sherry casks along with some rather rare single malts. Chivas Regal did well with this one, snatching a Gold Medal in the San Francisco World Spirits awards 2015. A blended whisky released to celebrate the adventures and endeavours of Sir Ernest Shackleton, notably his expeditions to the Antarctic. This was a creation put together by Master Blender, Richard Paterson, continuing the theme of his recreation of Mackinlay's Rare Old Highland Malt.
Sheep dip is a blended malt woven together from 16 different single malts aged between 8-20years old from a high percentage of first fill casks by master distiller with the Whyte & Mackay group, Mr Robert (the nose) Patterson. Produced by the Ian Macleod group who also bottle the equally popular Pig's Nose blend as well as owning the Glengoyne and Tamdhu distilleries.
Newcomers North Star Spirits are proving to be rather popular on the whisky scene, and it’s easy to see why. SPICA is a 20 year old blended whisky distilled in 1997 - with a fantastic colour on it.
Made up of whiskies hailing from 12 year old Island malts, Spice King 12 year old from Wemyss Malts. A superb blended malt which bagged itself gold medal in the 2014 World Whiskies Awards for Best Blended Malt Scotch. Complex spices along with punchy charred oak and rich fruits.
