American Tennessee whiskey a little different to bourbon, essentially it is a sour mash whiskey that is softened down using what's called the Lincoln County Process. Whereby the whiskey is charcoal filtered before it is put into barrel for ageing, Jack Daniel's is major producer for this type of whiskey.
