Made with 100% Espadin agave Mezcal can only be made with one of eight types of agave, where as tequila can only be made with the blue agave. San Cosme is produced in Oaxaca, Mexico, and is one of our favourite Mezcals there is to offer. It is extremely complex with a very pleasent sweetness. Great on its own or in a superb Mescal based cocktail.
An aged tequila from Jose Cuervo made from 100% agave. Its short maturation in white oak barrels gives it a slightly softer touch, this tequila took home Gold in The Tequila Masters - Premium Reposado.
Añejo tequila from the Don Julio distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. This was aged for 18 months in American white oak barrels resulting in a rather fabulous character.
Finished in Buffalo Trace barrels for just under a year comes this tequila from the Casa San Matias distillery in Mexico. Corazón have used 100% agave from 18,000 meters above sea level in Jalisco, where sugar levels in the plant are high. Each bottle is hand numbered and signed, only 5,700 bottles were produced.
