Black Barrel rum was released by Mount Gay into the UK in 2014. It features more distillates from the double pot stills used, aswell as using single pot distillates. The spirit is then aged in heavily charred bourbon barrels before being bottled at 43% ABV. Much more depth in this, than the Eclipse expression. Lots of spice, dried fruits and vanilla going on here.
