Gin is one of the greatest spirits there is to offer, commonly consumed in a Gin and Tonic or a Martini of some sort. The characteristics of gins are vast due to the many botanicals used in the production today and the non-strict choice of neutral spirit a distillery can use. Aviation is an American Batch distilled gin offering a great quality of flavour, distilled from Rye. The botanicals that flavour this beauty are Lavender, Anise, Sarsaparilla, Cardamom, Orange peel (for that all important citrus) and of course Juniper. It is a very clean flavoured gin, the nose displays gorgeous notes of lavender and fresh citrus from the Orange peel. The palate is nicely spiced with lengthy, heavy, juniper flavours. yummy!
