Corder Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc highlights beautifully the extraordinary quality of white wines coming out of South Africas Elgin Valley district. A brilliant South African Shiraz from a great vintage. Fresh, vibrant, black & red fruit with a bright mineral palate and a long finish.
The final blend is aged on lees for an extended period in French oak barrels along with around 15% from the previous vintage. This ensures a more complex wine with greater palate weight and mouthfeel.

A great partner to homemade burgers or sticky spare ribs.

2018 Cape Heights Western Cape Merlot - (Bottle - 1/75cl)

A bright and juicy Merlot with an attractively soft, creamy, chocolatey nose and a palate of dusky spice. Lush, ripe and deep in hue, this is a plump and sensuous Merlot with flavours of hedgerow fruits and a fine, gently leafy finish. A touch of elegance is achieved by using a modest amount (10%) of oak.

Try with Grilled lamb, pasta with a tomato-based sauce, chorizo and butterbean stew, spicy sausages and mash.

Known as one of the worlds most beautiful wine estates, Klein Constantia dates back to the late 1600's and produces some of South Afica's most highly rated wines. This Sauvignon Blanc is no exception, bright and inviting with citrus notes on the nose. The palate is very well balanced with just the right amount of acidity to compliment the fresh fruitiness.

2016 Spice Route Swartland Mourvedre - (Bottle - 1/75cl)

Grapes were hand harvested, destalked and lightly crushed into open concrete fermenters. Manual punch downs were done three times a day during fermentation. Fermentation lasted seven days, after which the wine was pressed off the skins and transferred to old French and American barrels for malolactic fermentation and 14 months ageing

Pinotage is a classic South African variety and originates from a 1925 cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsault (known as Hermitage in South Africa). The Fairview Pinotage was primarily harvested from bush vines in Malmesbury and Agter-Paarl, some of which are over 25 years old. These older vineyards are dry farmed and the vines grow on deep soils. This is supplemented by fruit from an irrigated, younger, trellised vineyard at Fairview.
