Spanning approximately 60 hectares, the vines at Rovereto are an average of 25 years old. The harvest is done by hand and the wine is aged for around 5 months in steel tanks, and further refined once it hits the bottle. This is an intense yet delicate wine with fresh fruit flavours such as green apple on the palate, the finish is long with a definite elegance.
Corder Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc highlights beautifully the extraordinary quality of white wines coming out of South Africas Elgin Valley district. The tensile freshness which this cooler climate proffers combines here with the purity of the fruit the Corder family are producing. The result is volume in the mouth with moorish length of elegant tropical-edged juice.
Corder Family Wines Chardonnay is fresh and light in style, easy going with a hint of oak. The Elgin factor gives it an extra lift of elegance over many South African Chardonnays, characterised primarily in a longer finer finish.
