Spanning approximately 60 hectares, the vines at Rovereto are an average of 25 years old. The harvest is done by hand and the wine is aged for around 5 months in steel tanks, and further refined once it hits the bottle. This is an intense yet delicate wine with fresh fruit flavours such as green apple on the palate, the finish is long with a definite elegance.
A whisky made from a staggering 45 different whiskies, crafted by springbanks owners, J & A Mitchell. it was also bottled at 45% ABV. Lovely stuff. the number 45 takes its name from the percentage of yes votes in the Scottish referendum in 2014.
