Made using predominantly the Negroamaro grape which is native to Southern Italy, this wine has the deep colour which is so often captured from this variety. The ageing in American oak gives the slightest hint of vanilla sweetness and when combined with the elegant velvety tannins produces a wonderfully rich and moreish wine. The finish is long and silky, with a wonderful hit of dark fruits on the palate. This is an ideal wine for a long family lunch, great with a variety of meats and cheeses.

Located between Florence and Siena, the Chianti Classico region is the sole producer of this wine. Aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 1 year, giving the wine a wonderful complexity and richness, it is then transferred back into steel tanks before being added to the bottle. Flavours of vanilla and raspberry here with a definite silkiness on the round, full palate. This would be delicious served alongside a joint of beef.

Spanning approximately 60 hectares, the vines at Rovereto are an average of 25 years old. The harvest is done by hand and the wine is aged for around 5 months in steel tanks, and further refined once it hits the bottle. This is an intense yet delicate wine with fresh fruit flavours such as green apple on the palate, the finish is long with a definite elegance.
Produced in Montalcino, at 250m above sea level, this blend of Sangiovese and Colorino is a characterful expression of Tuscan wine. The soil is a medium mixture with remarkable skeletal presence adding excellent minerality to the vivid youthful red fruited flavours.
This is an intense Sicilian red with bags of flavour. Plum and black currant on the nose, with a rich and complex palate, the finish is velvety and harmonious. This would be best matched with grilled meats and cheeses.
Rosso di Montalcino is the designation for second wines of producers in Brunello di Montalcino. As with Brunello, this wine is 100% Sangiovese, but there is no demand for fifty months of aging. Brunelli ages their Rosso di Montalcino for 9 months, followed by 4 months in the bottle. This is best enjoyed young to take advantage of its juicy fruit character.
Deep ruby red in colour, with hints of purple, this is a delicious Chianti from Brunelli. Ideal for pairing with a range of dishes such as spaghetti bolognese, or along side a nice, strong cheese. This is medium-bodied and silky on the palate, packed with dark fruits and a little tannin on the finish.
