2015 Beneventano Aglianico Igt Vesevo Campania (Bottle - 1/75cl)
Tucked away in the far south of Italy, in Campania, Vesevo produces a range of wines which tend to be fermented at cooler temperatures similar to those found in New Zealand - the wine makers believe that this enhances the flavours giving a purer taste to the wines. The Anglianico from Vesevo is complex and intense on the palate with notes of red fruits - cranberries, cherries and raspberries, this is followed by a touch of spice and a slight hint of vanilla on the lengthy finish.
