2021 Burgundy

In short, 2021 can be described as complicated. The weather conditions were extreme to say the least with devastating frost, downy mildew and oidium prevalent resulting in the decimation of several appellations (producers in Meursault reported losses of up to 90%). The only positive it seemed was the warm and dry weather that appeared August & September, allowing remaining healthy grapes to ripen fully.
