2020 Burgundy

Despite the extremities of the growing season, miraculously 2020 produced wines lower in alcohol, lower in pH and colours that are deeper and darker than their 2019 and 2018 counterparts. The reds are concentrated, exuberant and wines built to age. The whites are outstanding, offering vibrant acidities and linear structures. Overall quality is very high in 2020, however yields are down on 2019. This, together with the dreadful conditions and severe lack of quantity produced in 2021 has resulted in huge demand, so buy what you can.
