A superb single grain whisky from Lowland distillery Cameronbridge, which was aged for 40 years in a refill barrel from January 1978 to December 2018. There's oodles of character from the American oak, with notes of vanilla, corn oil and bourbon, followed by mocha and spice on the palate. Just 200 bottles were released at natural cask strength for Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular range.
