“Nose of raspberry and coconut. Lots of butterscotch and crisp green apple. Like a Bourbon. Some rich, creamy corn. Very expressive nose. Palate is not particularly complex but very well-made. Very round with balanced sweetness. Notes of popcorn, coconut and some more raspberry and apple. Finishes short, with caramel popcorn.”

Fully ex-bourbon cask matured Welsh single malt whisky comes the Myth, distilled at the Penderyn distillery. This bottling sits beside its partner Legend, which is also a single malt whisky they make, matured in ex-bourbon casks, finished in ex-madeira casks. A lovely sweet flavoursome whisky from Penderyn.
At a slightly lower ABV than the original Madeira Cask finish from the Penderyn distillery, Legend is is bottled at 41% ABV and tastes a treat! Matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and ex-madeira casks. The Madeira finish gives this whisky its unique character from the range of whiskies Penderyn has to offer.
