 A 25 year old Ben Nevis from a single cask and named in honour of of Takeshi Taketsuru who was the adopted son of one of the founding fathers of the Japanese Whisky industry, Masataka Taketsuru.Personally filled on 28th September 1990 by Takeshi and bottled in October 2015 and sadly one year after Takeshi had passed away. The Ben Nevis distillery has been owned by Nikka since 1989, with the majority of its output now exported to Japan to be used in Nikka blends. 
Bottle number 99 of 235 and bottled at natural cask strength of 61.3% ABV and a fitting memorial in Whisky form.
