    Released in 2012 this is a fabulous 17 year old expression by the Balvenie distillery and like the 12 year old has also been double wood matured in ex-Bourbon and finished in ex-Sherry casks with the flavour profile more towards the extra Sherry wood influence than an extra 5 years ageing brings. A 2013 Gold medal winner at the IWSC awards.
