2018 El Infiernillo Single Vineyard Valle de Casablanca Pinot Noir - (Bottle - 1/75cl)

Coming from a single block of fruit in Chile’s Casablanca Valley, the Pinot Noir grapes benefit from
a long ripening season and optimum diurnal temperature variation. Due to its proximity to the cooling influences of the Pacific Ocean it is ideal for the production of exquisite Pinot Noir.
Low fermentation temperatures are used to avoid hard extraction. There grapes are fragile so there is lots of gentle pumping over help to avoid bad tannis. The wine is aged for 3 months in French oak.

Smokey raspberry and red cherry fruit lifts effortlessly out of the glass. The palate is rich yet delicate
with plenty of crunchy red berry fruits and a supple finish. This is a wine which has plenty of hand
crafted charm. FOOD MATCH Goose and duck immediately spring to mind… but also great with mushroom based dishes, BBQ meats and patés.
