2018 Brouilly Roches Bleu Volcan (Bottle - 1/75cl)

The name of the domaine Les Roches Bleues comes from the bluey layer of manganese soil under Mont Brouilly (South of Beaujolais area). This vine originates near the summit of this long extinct volcano.
The wine is made from a carbonic maceration (whole berries fermented for a week). This method gives a light body with subtle tannins and plenty of fresh fruit character.
