2016 Clos Marsalette Pessac Leognan (Bottle - 1/75cl)

This great estate sit on the gravel soil on the south of Bordeaux city. The Clos Marsalette produces 12.30 hectares of red with a blend of (50 %) Merlot, (48 %) Cabernet Sauvignon, 
(2 %) Cabernet Franc. The vine has an average of 20 years old. The grapes are harvested by hand. Then in the cellar the grapes are vinified in wooden barrels and concrete tanks. The wine is transfer to a French oak barrel for 15 to 18 months. 50% of the production aged in new oak.
