2015 Mercurey 1er Cru Clos du Roy Faiveley (Case - 12/75cl)

All grapes from Faiveleys Mercurey vineyards are pressed and vinified on site, before being transported to Nuits-Saint-Georges to be left on oak for 14 to 16 months. On average, one third of the oak is new. Its name, Le Clos du Roy allegedly indicates that the vineyard was formerly owned by the French crown. This wine is full with red fruit and spicy wood aromas, carried by smooth tannin.
