2014 Margaux 1er Cru Margaux (Case - 3/150cl)
Bit darker than the Pavillon, full plum, inky cultured nose, complex blue berry, cedar earthy, perfumed but fruity edged too, the palate is tense, ample but not jammy, its certainly got the Margaux signature. The tannins are ripe and ample, but soft as per Margaux. Its all here balanced and fine. Similar to 1996 in its purity. 94-96/100 - 2025-2050+. Nickolls & Perks - W J Gardener. Decanter 18.75/20 JS 94-95/100 NM 93-95/100
