2014 Grand Puy Lacoste 5th Cru Pauillac (Case - 12/75cl)
Bright purple, sophisticated, nose, with cherry, beetroot, cedar, its all quite restrained though, the palate is creamy, and textured its promising though it does fall off a tad at the back. It will be difficult to live up to the extraordinary wines made at this estate in 2009 & 2010, and this doesnt on this showing. However it is still a fine claret. 91-93/100 - 2024-2035+. Nickolls & Perks - W J Gardener. Decanter 17.75/20 JS 93-94/100
