2013 Chablis 1er Cru Cotes De Lechet Domaine Bernard Dfx (Bottle - 1/75cl)
Made from the domaines oldest vines (planted 1955) which benefit from perfect South/South-East sun exposure. This cuvée is partially fermented in oak barrels & aged for 12 months on fine lees with regular "batonnage". After tasting, this is blended with rest of the cuvée aged in stainless steel tanks. The final blend is bottled 18 months after the harvest to emphasise the Côte de Lechets power. The bouquet marries floral elegance with the mineral intensity of the terroir. The palate is characterised by fullness, richness and length. The 2013 vintage is less classic than usual, with a more exotic element, which will be welcome in its infancy.
