2011 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Charmes Pousse D'Or (Case - 12/75cl)
Area under vine: 0.188 hectares (4.39 ouvrées). Terroir: Located at an altitude of 260-280 metres, limestone and gravelly soils. Sun exposure: South-east facing. Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir. Fermentation: The grapes are hand picked, sorted in the vat room, and 100% destemmed. Cold fermentation for 7 days is followed by temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation with two pigeages (punching the cap) a day and maceration for 21 days. Barrel-ageing: Aged on the lees in oak barrels (30% new) for 15 months, with late-occurring, natural malolactic fermentation. Neither fined nor filtered. Racked and bottled by gravity flow.

The conditions at this old munitions base, 100 metres below ground are unrivalled, offering temperature control, In Bond facility and full replacement value insurance. The wines are stored under each client's individual ""Protection Plus"" account number, fully labelled and can only be released or moved with his or her written instructions. No right of lien can be exercised over wines held on each client's behalf. Client's stock can be inspected, by arrangement, at any time excluding November & December.
