Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte in 2010 was ideal for picking the grapes in their optimum ripeness, aged for 18 months on the lees in 65% new barrels. This was made from 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.
