2002 Cornas Auguste Clape (Bottle - 1/75cl)

Auguste Clapes Cornas is produced from the oldest Syrah vines in the domaine, all between thirty and sixty years old. Whole clusters are fermented for twelve days before aging for 22 months. This is a rich and concentrated, spicy wine which can be quite unwieldy in youth, but a few years of rest will allow it to bloom!
