2001 Leoville Barton 2nd Cru St Julien (Case - 12/75cl)
2001 was an unpredictable vintage for producers, starting off cool to cold and ending in one of the driest Septembers in Bordeaux history. As a result of this, quality varied between the Right and the left bank. Despite the uncertainty that the vintage brought, Leoville Barton have produced a commendable wine that is drinking beautifully, "one of the stars of the Medoc" for the vintage.
