The whole process ' raw ingredients, distillation, maturation and bottling ' is certified to the rigorous standards set by the UK Soil Association. The whisky is matured in virgin American oak casks from environmentally managed forests. This limited edition bottling of Benromach Organic is made using the finest Scottish organic barley, dried using peat smoke, to produce an organic Speyside Single Malt which displays a distinctly smoky character.

Aroma without water: Light & delicate fruity aromas - hints of soft, fresh fruits. A subtle smoky edge develops.
Taste without water: Mouth warming with a distinctive peaty note present, hints of charred oak and a sweet, cream toffee finish.
Aroma with water: Fresh aromas with a floral, perfumed note. Some green fruitiness arrives with a touch of cut grass. The sweet, toffee aromas continue.
Taste with water: The smokiness is now more evident but surrounded by a smooth vanilla sweetness. Some roasted malt and oak notes linger in the background.

In Bond storage is facilitated at Octavian in Wiltshire, the U.K's premier wine storage facility. The conditions at this old munitions base, 100 metres below ground are unrivalled, offering temperature control, In Bond facility and full replacement value insurance. The wines are stored under each client's individual "Protection Plus" account number, fully labelled and can only be released or moved with his or her written instructions. No right of lien can be exercised over wines held on each client's behalf. Client's stock can be inspected, by arrangement, at any time excluding November & December.
