The 1990 Chateau D'Angludet is fully mature and is worth drinking up within the next couple of years. Its savoury character would put it perfectly next to a beef or venison steak.
There is evidence of vineyards existing on the land of the d'Angludet estate in the Medoc since the early 17th century. Due to the estate being divided up in 1791, it didn't feature in the 1855 classification of the Medoc. However, in 1891 the divided estates were later consolidated back into Chateau d'Angludet and was listed as one of the six Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel in 1932.
Now, owned by the Sichel family since 1961, Chateau d'Anguldet represents 81 hectares, 32 of which are planted wutg 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 13% Petit Verdot.
