The hint of petrol on the nose gives this away immediately, Riesling with a little bottle age opens up beautifully, there are notes of citrus, an almost sherbety edge, the balate is packed with rich unctutuous fruit, giving a residual sweetness and silky texture in the mid-palate, but finishing a touch dry. Medium full body and excellent length. This is a good Riesling example, the Grand Cru shows at a very reasonable price.
